$70.00Our Honda CB500X heat shield is designed to offer protection for soft bags, soft panniers by keeping it away from the exhaust muffler in order to avoid direct contact.
Made of 4mm thick aluminum.
Important note: Due to the shape and location of the original Honda exhaust muffler, your soft pannier may be exposed to extreme heat. Our heat shield’s primary purpose is to keep soft panniers from coming in contact with the exhaust muffler, not to deflect exhaust fumes. A solution may be to upgrade to a shorter aftermarket exhaust muffler or the installation of a downward deflector.

The Outback Motortek X-Frames for the Honda CB500X are the most universal and functional side pannier frames yet, allowing simple, secure mounting of hard panniers and soft luggage.
Total width of the asymmetrical pannier racks mounted: 495mm. Compatible with our Rear Rack.
Exhaust heat shield is included (compatible only with 2019+ models).
Important note: Although we offer an exhaust heat shield for CB500X models, the main purpose of it is to keep bags coming in contact with the muffler. We cannot guarantee that heat coming off of the exhaust gas will be prevented by the heat shield. We suggest that you protect your soft panniers from melting while we’re working on a complete heat protection package.

We offer Standard and X-Frame pannier racks.*
The difference between the two versions is that the Standard frames are a simple and universal luggage mount system, while the X-Frame include an extra (removable) X-Bracket mount, along with tabs welded on all four corners. The sliding bracket design offers a simple and secure extra mounting for a fuel canister, a tool box and other accessories, along with your hard and/or soft luggage.
